A vehicle rollover in Dragoon Easter Sunday resulted in the death of a 45-year-old Cochise man and required the extrication of a 17-year-old passenger. The rollover occurred on W. Dragoon Road and North Niño Place just after 12:30 p.m., east of Benson, according to the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities had not released the victim’s identity by press time but did say the driver and passenger were related and both of Cochise. The eastbound 1997 Toyota Four Runner left the roadway then rolled after the driver over corrected, authorities said. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the SUV, said Capas. The teen passenger was properly restrained and transported to a Tucson hospital with neck and head injuries, she said.
