Crews reported smoke in the area as they were traveling to the incident on the east side. Crews were able to make access with hose lines through the condo's front door and get a quick knockdown of the fire, according to TFD Capt. Tom Carpenter. A primary search was completed to confirm that there was no one inside the multi-story housing unit. The fire was called under control 31 minutes after firefighters arrived on-scene. 14 units and 34 firefighters responded to the scene. No reported injuries to civilians or firefighters. The Red Cross was called for two adults, one female and one male. A dog in an adjacent unit was evacuated from the smoke and returned to the owners. The origin and cause of this fire is still under investigation.
