VIDEO: A swarm of bees attacked a family, forcing Sahuaro Ranch Park in Glendale to close Sunday afternoon. The park, located southwest of 59th and Peoria avenues, was reopened after a bee keeper removed the bees. Fire officials say a man, one of four family members attacked by the bees, was stung over 100 times. "We had some families out here in the park enjoying the day," said a Glendale Fire spokesperson. "They were picking some fruit in the orchards, and they came across a beehive."
The man, age 40, bore the brunt of the bee stings. "I’ve seen hundreds and hundreds of bees, especially if it’s really large. And when they attack, they go after you.
