VIDEO: Crews battled a first-alarm fire at a home in El Mirage Tuesday morning. The fire broke out around 9 a.m. near Dysart and Greenway roads. Fire crews from multiple cities were called in to help battle the flames. When our Arizona's Family News Chopper arrived at the scene, it appeared that the fire had been controlled, and no flames were visible. But we could see that the fire had burned a huge hole in the roof of the house. Wisps of smoke were seen coming from the interior, and a few of the windows were scorched. It didn't appear anyone was taken to the hospital. But we did see family members being wrapped in blankets and escorted off the property by firefighters. There's no word yet on a cause.
