A man was injured Thursday afternoon during a fire in the 300 block of Meander Drive. Firefighters were called out to the location at 12:24 p.m. and spent about three hours on scene fighting the fire, then mopping up, according to the Bullhead City Fire Department. The first crew to arrive saw a single-wide mobile home “fully engulfed,” said BHCFD Battalion Chief Craig Stephenson. An unidentified man approached the firefighters with noticeable burns. Paramedics took the man to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for treatment, Stephenson said. An awning over the mobile home contained the heat of the fire and added to the job of extinguishing it.
