No one was injured in a structure fire at an Arizona City home Tuesday night, authorities said. The Arizona City Fire District responded to Bentley Drive to a report of a house fire at 9 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters reported a single-story home had heavy smoke, but Pinal County Sheriff's Office units reported that all the residents had exited safely. The residents reported hearing a loud pop coming from the master bedroom closet and stated that the smoke detectors in the house went off. Inside the house, firefighters found heavy smoke throughout the structure and found heavy fire and smoke in the master bedroom closet area. The origin of the fire appears to be a malfunctioning lamp located in the closet, ACFD said.
