VIDEO: The Phoenix Fire Department says a man got stuck in a storm drain under a street on the city’s west side and that a rescue crew assembled at the site on Tuesday, Jan. 15. Fire Capt. Danny Gile says a technical rescue crew worked on a plan to rescue the man. Gile says it’s not known how the man got into what’s described as an 18-inch (46-centimeter) drain pipe at North 67th Avenue and West Indian School Road, but according to AZ Family, the man told firefighters he was dragged into the pipe. No additional information is immediately available.
