VIDEO: A man is dead after escaping a fiery single-car crash in Tempe Wednesday evening. The incident happened around 7 p.m. near 48th Street and Roeser Road. According to firefighters, when crews arrived on scene, they found the man's car on fire with him outside of the vehicle. The man was seriously injured in the crash but he also had an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Officials have not determined the cause of death.
