Tucson Fire says crews were called to two fires within ten minutes of each other around midnight Tuesday. The first was a house fire in the in the 4000 block of East Paseo Dorado, near 22nd and Alvernon. Tucson Fire says the homeowner called 911 saying his legs were on fire and that he could not get out. He also said he was disabled. When firefighters got to the home, they worked to put out the flames and worked to save the man in his early 70's. The man was rescued and taken to the hospital for medical reasons due to the burns. No word on his condition. The second fire took place in the 900 block of N. Dodge Boulevard, near Speedway and Alvernon. A Tucson Police officer was responding to another incident when the flames were spotted coming from a travel trailer.
