The southern Arizona fire district was able to bring new cardiac monitors and defibrillators on board.
First responders with the fire district have been using the equipment for the past two weeks and say they already notice a difference in the customer care they are able to provide.
The new units have more features than the previous ones used, including the ability to detect chest compression of CPR being done on a patient.
The new tools also allow first responders to tailor care to every patient.
