VIDEO: A man's body was found by a cleaning crew in a storm drain in Phoenix Monday night. Firefighters arrived to the scene where the body was located at 7th Avenue and Utopia Road around 10 p.m. It's unclear how the man died and why he was in a storm drain. Police said the body had been in the storm drain for an unknown amount of time and was in a state of decomposition. Fire crews helped remove the body from the storm drain and the Phoenix Police Department is investigating. The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death. The area of 7th Avenue and Utopia was shut down to drivers while the body recovery and investigation were completed.
