A woman and her dog are dead after a house fire in west Phoenix on Wednesday morning. Phoenix fire told Arizona's Family that an elderly woman was pulled from the house fire near 43rd Avenue and Cholla Street. Arizona's Family news chopper was over the scene where flames could be seen bursting through the roof of the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The name of the woman killed in the fire has not been released.
