Surprise voters approved a bond to fund construction of the station, which will replace the temporary modular station currently in use. “After approximately 17 years of operating out of a temporary station, we are excited to finally build a permanent station in this growing area of the city,” said City of Surprise Mayor Skip Hall. “Public safety is vitally important to the City Council, as well as our residents, and I am excited that this new, expanded station positions us to meet the needs of the community well into the future.”
