A 1-year-old boy is in the hospital after being found in a backyard pool in Glendale, firefighters said. It happened on 66th Avenue near Greenway Road. According to the Glendale Fire Department, the boy's mother found him floating in the water. He wasn't breathing and didn't have a heartbeat when he was taken to the hospital, crews said. Firefighters said they were able to re-establish a pulse on the way to the hospital. The boy was flown from a hospital in the west Valley to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
