There are now more than 100,000 total confirmed cases of coronavirus across Arizona.
State health officials reported Monday morning that our state officially surpassed the mark, with a total number of 101,441 confirmed cases. Officials say more than 62,000 of those cases involve people younger than 44 years old.
There have been a total of 1,810 deaths as of Monday.
More than 800,000 tests have been administered, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services. Nationwide, coronavirus tests are coming back at a 9% positive rate, while here in Arizona, they are around 13% positive, officials say.
