PHOTO: Central Arizona Fire and Williamson Valley Fire responded to a structure fire in the 13,000 block of N. Iron Hawk Dr. in the Inscription Canyon subdivision in Williamson Valley. Crews arrived on the scene and found a 1,850 s.f. detached garage full involved in fire. There were several nearby exposures that included the main residence, trailers, vehicles and heavy equipment that firefighters protected. The fire burned into nearby grass, brush and trees which firefighters kept from spreading onto neighboring properties.
Due to the complexity of the large metal framed building, firefighters remained on scene through the night extinguishing hot spots and fire burning throughout the collapsed debris. The homeowners were home at the time of the incident and fortunately called 911 immediately when they discovered the garage on fire.
