VIDEO: A 2-year-old and a man are dead after a late-night wrong-way crash in Tempe. Police say the toddler was not restrained, and detectives are investigating the possibility of impairment on the part of the teen driver. It happened just before 11 p.m. on Price Road just south of Southern Avenue. According to Detective Natalie Barela, a teen was driving north in the southbound lanes of Price Road when they collided with an oncoming car. There were three other people in the wrong-way car, including the toddler and their mother. The man who died was the front-seat passenger. The toddler’s mom was in serious condition when she was taken to the hospital. It’s not clear if the teen driver and the front-seat passenger are related to the toddler and their mom. The woman driving the car that was hit was in serious condition, as well.
