Three people were injured when a deck collapsed at a residence Friday, according to the Oakland Fire Department. About 1:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a structural collapse at the 3400 block of Morcom Avenue, said fire department spokeswoman Angela Robinson Pinon. A deck attached to a two-story residential structure had collapsed, Robinson Pinon said. She said three people were injured in the collapse but could not yet confirm the extent of their injuries or whether they were all transported to a hospital. A tweet from @OaklandFireLive, which broadcasts dispatches of Oakland firefighters, indicated that two people were brought to a local trauma center after the collapse.
