Firefighters rushed to a casino in Gardena Monday morning after its roof partially collapsed, leaving several people injured. The collapse occurred before 10:20 a.m. at Larry Flynt’s Lucky Lady Casino located in the 1000 block of Rosecrans Avenue. Aerial footage appeared to show the collapse occurring in the area of two large commercial air conditioners. At least 11 people suffered minor injuries, Los Angeles County Fire Department officials told CBS2. Firefighters were providing medical aid at the scene. It’s unclear how many patients were being transported to local hospitals. “There isn’t any report of any critical injuries, the information that we have so far is that all the patients that are being evaluated are minor,” L.A. County Fire Capt. Tony Imbrenda told CBS2 by phone.
