A man is dead after firefighters found him inside a burning home in Tulare on Tuesday morning. City firefighters were called to the house on Bardsley Avenue and R Street just before 1 am. Authorities say fire crews had difficulty entering the house because it was boarded up. They found the man inside once they knocked down the flames. First responders rushed the victim to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Investigators are working to determine how the man got inside the building. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
