Dozens of goats are grazing the Feather River levee Thursday to prevent fires. The city of Oroville said this will happen between the Highway 70 bridge and the green bridge at Table Mountain Blvd. The grazing is expected to take up to 20 days to complete. The walking path along the levee will remain open to pedestrian traffic. Nearly 300 goats are also grazing sections of the Lindo Channel between Manzanita Avenue and Madrone Avenue in Chico.
