VIDEO: Flames ripped through a northeast Fresno building overnight, leaving a former radio station reduced to rubble. The fire broke out after 11 pm Tuesday on Shaw Avenue near First Street. Advertisement Fresno Fire officials said the building was once a radio station but had since been abandoned. When crews arrived, smoke was coming from all sides of the building. Moments later, the windows started to shatter as the flames consumed the structure. Firefighters faced several challenges while working to douse the blaze early Wednesday morning with wind. The closest fire hydrants were across the street, making it difficult for crews to access.
