4 Children, 2 Adults Displaced In Temecula House Fire

A fire that erupted in the garage of a Temecula residence Monday spread into the living quarters before firefighters contained it, leaving a family of six displaced. The non-injury blaze was reported at 11:55 a.m. in the 33000 block of Romero Drive, near Lauriano Drive, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. According to the fire department, multiple engine crews and a truck company responded and encountered flames raging in the attached garage, extending to the second floor of the two-story house, from which all six occupants safely evacuated. Crews fully contained the flames by 12:20 p.m., according to officials at the scene. Two adults and four children, ranging in age from 4 to 11 years old, were displaced by the blaze.
