Wolcott police are investigating a car crash that killed one person and injured two others.
Police said around 6:30 a.m., they were called to County Road (Route 322) for a crash.
When they arrived on scene, officers found a Honda with two adults inside and a pickup truck with a driver. Police said the two people in the Honda had to be extricated by the Wolcott Volunteer Fire Department.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The pickup truck driver had also suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Police said the Honda appeared to have been driving south on County Road, crossed the center lane, and crashed head-on into the truck.
The victims have not been identified at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
