Local volunteer firefighters provided mutual aid to Putnam County for at least the second time this month after a structure fire broke out Monday night.
Firefighters from Patterson and Putnam Lake responded to a report of a fire at 45 Lakeport Drive in Patterson, N.Y., at 10:19 p.m.
After a working structure fire was confirmed at a house, Putnam Lake requested an engine and a tanker from New Fairfield at 10:30 p.m.
New Fairfield firefighters provided water at the scene before returning to service, according to dispatch reports.
