Officials are investigating a fire that broke out on a residential property near Kent Falls State Park late Thursday night.
A “possible electrical fire” at 18 Dugan Road was called in shortly before midnight.
The 1-acre lot contains three buildings, according to land records. The fire was reported in a cottage.
Firefighters from Kent, Cornwall and Sherman were requested to respond, and Eversrouce was immediately notified.
A fire marshal was requested to the scene around 12:15 a.m., according to dispatch reports, and the fire was under control about 15 minutes later.
