Farmington's "bravest" will tackle Farmington's "finest" (though, not literally) in a special flag football game that will raise funds for the families impacted by the horrible tragedy in Bristol last month.
On Saturday, Nov. 5, the Farmington Fire Department will play the Farmington Police Department in a special fundraising flag football contest at Farmington High School, 10 Monteith Drive, to raise money for the families of the Bristol police officers killed and wounded in an ambush Oct. 12.
The gates open at 5 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. game at the school's turf field, with food trucks and pregame activities scheduled for the family to enjoy.
Because of this, event organizers are asking folks to arrive early.
