Maurice "Moe" Cattanio, 89, of Wethersfield, CT and Moody Beach, ME, husband to the late Rosemarie Cattanio, who predeceased him in 2018, died peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Hartford Hospital, following a brief illness. Maurice was born on May 21, 1933 and raised in Hartford to the late Peter and Julia Cattanio.
Maurice was a beloved founding member of Company 3 of the Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department since 1957, still active as their Treasurer and so proud to be a part of mentoring many generations of volunteer firefighters. He was a true public servant.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the Cattanio Family on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield, CT.
