Two people were seriously injured in house trailer fire late Monday afternoon. Now, the Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating how and where that fire started. The fire was reported just after 4:30 p.m. at a home on Kenton Circle. According to the fire marshal's office, firefighters with the Clayton Fire Company arrived on scene to find a large amount of fire inside. A 64-year-old woman was trapped inside the home. Fire crews were able to rescue her. She was taken to Keystone Crozer Medical Center in critical condition after suffering smoke inhalation. A 23-year-old man also suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to Kent General Hospital in critical condition. The state fire marshal said the agency estimates heavy smoke damage to be about at $50,000.
