Two Kent County men were arrested on multiple illegal burning charges related to a fire in the Felton area earlier this month. Muhammad Iran, 29, and Muhammad Asim, 33, both of Felton, were cited on four charges at the property on Sandtown Road on April 4. Each charge carries a minimum fine of $100 each, according to the Delaware Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control. Officers from DNREC's Environmental Crimes Unit responded at the request of the Felton Fire Company to investigate the fire. Firefighters from Harrington, Greensboro and Goldsboro also responded to assist.
