Milford Store Fire Under Investigation

VIDEO: Investigators are continuing to search for the cause of a Tuesday night fire that heavily damaged a store in Milford. The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office said the blaze was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m., at the Not Too Shabby Antique store in the 300 block of Rehoboth Boulevard. The Carlisle Fire Company responded to the call and quickly arrived with fire and smoke coming from the front door to the store. Assistance was requested from the Houston, Ellendale, and Slaughter Beach fire companies. Sussex County Paramedics also stood by at the fire scene. The fire was placed under control at 8:40 p.m. Deputy state fire marshals responded to the scene to initiate an investigation into the origin and cause of the fire. At this time the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
