Firefighters rescued a Clydesdale horse after it fell through the ice in a Delaware creek.
According to media reports, crews from the Delaware City Fire Company were called to the Cozy Quarter Farm on Sunday morning.
Firefighters found the horse, named Bubba, was having difficulty keeping its head above the water.
It reportedly took about an hour to pull the large animal out of the freezing water.
After it was back on stable ground, a half hour later Bubba was reportedly able to stand on his own again and was guided back to the stables.
And then on Monday, Delaware City firefighters reportedly returned to the farm a second time, this time after Bubba got stuck in a corner in his stable and was unable to stand up. Firefighters were able to free him by giving him a roll and a push.
