A 73-year-old man was charged with intentionally setting a fire in a Wilmington Manor-area apartment complex laundry room, the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office announced Thursday.
According to officials, Joseph Talamo was charged with third-degree arson for starting a fire in the laundry room of a Hampton Walk apartment complex building in the 1500 block of New Jersey Avenue around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. The fire caused approximately $3,500 in damage to the building. No one was injured. Talamo was released from custody on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
