The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office says a house fire that broke out in Seaford Monday night was accidental. We’re told the blaze was reported shortly after 9 p.m., in the 400 block of East King Street. Investigation revealed that the fire was caused by a malfunction in the power cord to an air conditioning unit. Officials say there were no injuries reported as a result of the fire. Fire damage has been estimated at $50,000.
