Delaware fire officials say a house fire in a neighborhood causing thousands in damage was an accident. The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal says the fire on Sunday morning was ruled accidental. The Lewes Fire Company responded to the home in the Overbrook Shores neighborhood around 9:30 a.m. No injuries were reported. Investigators say a car parked in an attached garage had a mechanical malfunction that sparked the fire. Authorities say the fire damage was estimated at $250,000.
