The Laurel Fire Department announced the passing of a lifetime member and former Vice President Sunday night. Through the Department's Facebook page, it was announced that Life Member Barry Sullivan passed away. Sullivan was part of the Department for 36 years as a volunteer firefighter. The Department said of Sullivan's passing, "the pain is gone now and there is no more suffering. May you rest in peace my friend until we meet again. We will take it from here!" The post did not have information on when services will be at the time of the post.
