A pedestrian died after getting hit by a pick-up truck near New Castle around 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Delaware State Police say the 20-year old Wilmington man was hit in the westbound lanes of Route 273 west of the Churchmans Road intersection. The impact caved in the hood of the pick-up truck which did stop at the scene.
