Firefighters in Kent County spent the afternoon rescuing a horse stuck in the mud.
According to the Dover Fire Department, firefighters were called to the scene on Nault Road around 3 p.m. The Large Animal Rescue Team as well as the Kent County Special Operations Team responded and found the draft horse partially submerged.
