At approximately 3:20 yesterday afternoon, New Castle County paramedics and surrounding fire companies were dispatched to the intersection of Terminal Avenue and New Castle Avenue for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, according to Paramedic Corporal Yvonne Russell.
Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, a 27-year-old-male motorcyclist, in care of emergency medical technicians. The patient suffered injuries to his arm, leg, and back. He was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Holloway Terrace Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics in serious condition.
