Firefighters are working to contain a 300-acre brush fire in Brevard County.
The fire is 75 percent contained, according to the Florida Forest Service. Highway 407 is shut down until further notice.
The fire was initially reported at five acres, but quickly grew to 200 acres by 4 p.m., the Florida Forest Service said. The fire has been named the Horse Stable Fire.
48 structures were threatened when the flames came within 100 yards of them, but by 5 p.m., officials said there was no longer a threat to any nearby structures.
Firefighters with the Florida Forest Service, Brevard County Fire Rescue, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Broward County Sheriff's Office Aviation Unit and the Titusville Fire Department were all at the scene.
