Two first responders were rushed to the hospital themselves after the ambulance they were in crashed Wednesday. Okaloosa County officials say the ambulance collided with a cement truck while taking a patient to the hospital. One EMT and one paramedic were involved in the crash, but are expected to make full recoveries. The patient they were transporting was also treated and taken to the hospital. Okaloosa County officials say they're awaiting the results of an investigation into the crash for more details.
