VIDEO: A construction worker was taken to the hospital after he was shocked by electricity on the job.
A spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said around 11 a.m., rescue personnel responded to Palm Beach Aggregates in Loxahatchee.
Capt. Albert Borroto said when they arrived on the scene, they found a man by a large excavator.
He said the man had been operating the machine to clear some land.
"While he was performing work on it, he came into contact with a live wire, and he received a shock," Borroto said.
The worker was airlifted by Traumahawk to the hospital.
