You can play poker with the Lee County Fire and Emergency Services on the Kinchafoonee Creek this weekend, and it's all for a good cause. The department is hosting its first ever Poker Paddle event this Saturday. During the event, you'll paddle down the creek starting at Sandy Beach Landing and end at Sutton's Landing. There will be stops in between for everyone to play poker. Kyle Lentz, with the department, said he thought up the idea of a charity poker game to raise money for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation. "The money goes toward burn survivors, people who have had injuries from burns, it could be from fire, from grease, anything you end up with at Augusta or Atlanta. It's sort of like where our group comes in, the Burn Foundation comes in and we support you financially and make sure you get well," explained Lentz.
