Several holiday packages nearly went up in flames early Thursday. But the quick action of Savannah Fire Rescue saved the day. Officials say Engine 2 responded to a mail truck that caught fire at the Abercorn/Truman Connector Post Office. Thankfully, the packages were saved. "Christmas may be a bit moist for some this year, but thanks to Savannah Fire, it’s still coming!" the department tweeted.
