Firefighters were dispatched to the Plaze facility on Brookhollow Industrial Boulevard about 5 p.m., Dalton city spokesman Bruce Frazier said. The fire was extinguished by the facility’s sprinkler system, but four employees suffered burns in the blaze, he said.“Early information from the investigation indicates that the fire was caused by an accident while a contractor was working on a catwalk at the facility,” Frazier said. “While working on the catwalk, flammable material at the scene was accidentally ignited. Firefighters believe the fire was a flash ignition of the flammable material.”
