For the fourth year running, Hall County Fire Services placed first in the annual "Give Burns the Boot" drive, benefiting the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation.
Hall County firefighters collected more than $83,000 in donations from citizens on three consecutive Fridays during the month of October. That brings the total amount raised during the four-year period to more than $276,000.
"The citizens of Hall County have set the standard for contributions to the Burn Foundation across the State of Georgia for the last four years," said Hall County Fire Chief Chris Armstrong in a press statement.
