The McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office said a SWAT team tried to serve a warrant at a mobile home near Wallace Drive and Belle Hammock Road on Thursday afternoon. While they were on scene, the mobile home caught on fire. No one was injured, and the person police were serving the warrant on was not found. The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
