More than a dozen residents were displaced after a fire Friday afternoon at an apartment complex in Norcross, authorities said.
The fire at the Bella Apartments at 2445 Beaver Ruin Road affected eight units and was extinguished by Gwinnett County crews about 4:30 p.m., according to Capt. Tommy Rutledge. Dispatch received the call just before 2 p.m.
There was heavy damage to the attic, roof and four top floor apartment units, Gwinnett fire said.
