Firefighters in north Georgia saved a family dog during a house fire. It happened before 4:00 Sunday morning on Pace Street in Dade County. Officials with Trenton-Dade County Fire Department said those who lived in the home were able to get out. Firefighters Alex Jones and Shan Anderson searched the home extensively for the family dog and were able to save it. Two rooms of the home were damaged by the flames, firefighters were able to keep it from spreading. It’s unclear what started the fire.
