A Norbord pressed wood manufacturing plant in Cordele was reported on fire late last night. The manufacturing plant is located just off of US Highway 280 and was seen releasing extreme amounts of smoke. Fox 31 Spoke with the Cordele Sheriffs Department and they said this is a Crisp County Fire Department fire. He confirmed that other fire departments were also at scene including Sumter County fire department and Vienna fire department.
